Environmental Abstraction

Many of these sculptures relate to nature and endangered species.

Zephyrus, inspired by the whale, contains images of a fluke and harpoon. Aquila, inspired by the eagle, contains images of talons and flight features. There is the suggestion that a species, once extinct, will come to be known only through its bones and fragments of its essential nature.
